We’ve taken our no-churn chocolate ice cream and made it even more irresistible with a hit of dark chocolate. With just six ingredients and no ice cream maker needed, it couldn’t be easier. Condensed milk adds that creamy sweetness, blended with milk and double cream for a smooth finish. Ready in just 15 minutes (plus freezing), it’s a summer treat that’s bound to be a hit – especially with chocoholics!

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 100ml milk
  • 600ml double cream
  • ½ x 397g tin condensed milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150g dark chocolate, chopped

Method

  1. Add the cocoa powder to a bowl, then whisk in the milk with a fork until fully combined and smooth. Pour in the double cream, condensed milk and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric whisk until stiff peaks form.
  2. Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30 sec bursts, stirring in between; set aside to cool for 2 mins.
  3. Put a third of the ice-cream mix into a 2ltr freezerproof container. Dollop a third of the melted chocolate in spoonfuls across the surface. Marble with a skewer; repeat to use up all the ingredients. Cover and freeze until firm.
