Tesco follows a "Think 25" policy when delivering age-restricted items (including but not limited to tobacco, alcohol, knives, or razors), so if the person receiving the order looks under 25, proof of age will be requested. The courier will then scan your proof of age ID to record your date of birth and deliver the goods. If the person receiving the goods looks over 25, only your date of birth will be requested. Whoosh delivery partners securely process and store certain information (such as date of birth, ID type, and expiry date) for as long as necessary, and in any event for no longer than 1 year. For full details of how we handle your personal data, please see our Customer Privacy Notice.
Licensing requirements will not allow us to deliver any alcohol to you if we believe you are intoxicated.
Please get one of the following valid forms of identification ready to prove you’re over 18:
• A passport
• A photocard driving licence
• A proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram
• EU national identity card
If proof of age is not available and there is no-one of that age at the address when the courier arrives, your order will not be delivered to you. We reserve the right to retain the delivery charge and the cost of any perishable items. We’ll refund you the price you paid for any non-perishable items.
