Bunnahabhain - Signatory Vintage 35th Anniversary - Single Cask #2845 1975 48 year old Whisky This single cask Scotch whisky was distilled at Bunnahabhain Distillery, on Islay, on the 28th Febuary 1975. The new spirit was filled into an Oloroso Sherry Butt, cask number 2845, where it remained until bottling in 2023. A lovely deep auburn in colour, the 48 years in cask have created a beautifully rich liquid with dark grapes, old sandalwood and ripe apricots. The mouthfeel is luscious and expansive with a long, satisfying finish. The colour of the whisky reflects only the natural impact from the cask during maturation. This whisky was disgorged and bottled under the supervision of Andrew Symington on the 5th of October 2023 Think 25: Please be prepared to show ID when receiving alcohol deliveries.
