Open up an unusual advent calendar created for the curious whisky fan. Inside this box you will find a bottle of Stauning's Floor-malted Rye Whisky as well as a specially crafted Christmas glass that will help you divide the bottle into 24 small adventures
Behind each of the calendar's 24 doors, you will discover tiny tales of the internationally acclaimed distillery on Jutland's west coast.
Stauning Rye is made with 70% floor malted rye and 30% malted barley. It is a very different type of rye whisky, where the combined malted grain and pot distillation makes the cereal notes shine in a smooth, full-bodied but nuanced whisky. Matured in new American oak barrels and bottle un-filtered.
Tasting Notes:
Rye bread in liquid form. Baking spice with subtle vanilla, pepper, long complex finish.
