Description
The August VGB300 is a plug-and-play capture device for RCA sources like VHS players, DVD players, VCR, camcorders and older games consoles.
Simply plug the Red, White and Yellow cables from your original device into the VGB300, then slot the VGB300 into a USB port on your laptop, PC or Mac.
Compatible with the free OBS recording software, VGB300 is easy to install and use with no manual driver downloads or unpacking!
Add the VGB300 as a device in OBS to begin watching back footage in real-time. To digitise your old VHS tapes and more, press Record and let the player feed OBS the footage. Once the tape is over, stop recording in OBS and your completed digital file will be saved to your computer. You can then rename, edit, copy and share the file however you like!
Thanks to OBS support, this retro capture device can also function as a capture card for livestreaming. Connect to OBS with your stream key and go live direct with RCA devices! Share retro games, precious historical footage and more all in real-time online.
Please note: This device relies on auto-run software to install itself. Some security settings may need to be adjusted if this process does not begin automatically.
