Preparation and Usage

Preparation guide:Pre-heat oven and baking tray. Pat the skin dry with a paper towel.For extra crispness score the skin with a sharp knife. Season the skin to taste with salt and cracked black pepper.Heat a non-stick frying pan to a high heat and add 1 teaspoon of oil. Place salmon skin side down in the pan. Cook for 1 minute, pressing down gently on the fish with a fish slice. Turn the heat down to medium. Cook for a further 4 minutes.Transfer the salmon, skin side up, onto the baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.Place in the top of the oven. Cook for 25 minutes. Leave to stand for 2 minutes after cooking.Why Not TryScatter some fresh chopped herbs like parsley or dill and some grated lemon zest over the salmon immediately before serving.

Oven

Instructions: 200°C/ Fan 180°C/ Gas 6 30 mins Pre-heat oven and baking tray. Pat the skin dry with a paper towel. For extra crispness score the skin with a sharp knife. Transfer the salmon, skin side up, onto the baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Place in the top of the oven. Cook for 25 minutes. Leave to stand for 2 minutes after cooking.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.
