Preparation and Usage

<p> </p><p> </p><p>WHAT'S INCLUDED </p><p>SHORTBREAD MIX </p><p>RED ICING MIX </p><p>BLUE ICING MIX </p><p>WHITE FONDANT ICING. </p><p> </p><p>Cooking Time: 10-12 minutes</p><p>Method: Oven</p><p> </p><p>Makes: 8 biscuits.</p><p> </p><p>WHAT YOU WILL NEED</p><p>For the shortbread:</p><p>100g butter</p><p>10ml water</p><p>Baking tray</p><p>Baking parchment</p><p> </p><p>For the Red Icing:</p><p>4ml Water</p><p>For the Blue Icing:</p><p>4ml Water</p><p> </p><p>To make the biscuits:</p><p>1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas 4.</p><p>2. Empty the shortbread mix sachet into a large bowl, add softened butter, water and mix with a spoon until combined. </p><p>3. Knead by hand for 1 minute to form a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for 10-15 minutes.</p><p>4. Flour a surface and roll out the dough to 8mm thickness</p><p>5. Use football shirt stencil printed on carton to trace onto baking paper. Place on top of dough and cut out the football shirts. For the final shirt you may need to roll the leftover pieces into another sheet of dough. </p><p>6. Place each football shirt evenly spaced on a baking tray.</p><p>7. Bake in the centre of the oven for 10-12 minutes until light brown in colour. </p><p>8. Leave to cool. </p><p> </p><p><u>Decoration:</u></p><p>1. Roll out the Fondant icing to 2mm thickness & cut out the football shirts using the stencil from the inside of the carton.</p><p>2. Sprinkle a small amount of water onto the back of the shirt and stick to the shortbread.</p><p>3. Mix the blue icing in a bowl with 4ml water until smooth, repeat with the red icing. Allow the icings to sit for 5 minutes and mix again making sure the colours are well blended.</p><p>4. Reuse the icing sachets for piping bags and fill with the coloured icings. Snip off the end of the sachet and decorate the football shirts to create your team.</p>
