Preparation and Usage

Chefs Tips
1. A dark edge on the meat is no mistake! Known in Texas as the 'bark' - it adds bold flavour and incredible texture.
2. The glaze can be used however you like! Glaze whilst cooking or use as a condiment to finish.
3. Chop, don't pull! Roughly chopping the meat once cooked will leave you with a perfect mix of crispy and juicy chunks.

Oven

Instructions: Remove outer packaging and place the sachets to one side. 200°C/ Fan 180°C/ Gas 6 55 mins Empty the contents of the pouch into an ovenproof dish and cover with foil. Place in the centre of a pre-heated oven and cook for 40 minutes. Remove from the oven, remove the foil and return to the oven for a further 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and drain the excess juices. SERVING SUGGESTION To serve, chop the meat, add the spiced honey rub seasoning and serve with the glaze on the side.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Keep refrigerated.
