Preparation and Usage

How to Prepare and Plate01.Decant the lamb shanks and vegetables into the foil tray provided, positioning the shanks on top of the vegetables. Add 2 tablespoons of water before covering with foil and placing on a baking tray in the centre of a pre-heated oven.02. Cook for 45 minutes, basting the shanks halfway with the cooking juices.03. Remove the foil and baste again. Cook for a further 15 minutes uncovered before basting for a final time. Allow to rest for 2 minutes.04. Empty the contents of the sauce sachet into a small saucepan. Bring to a low simmer for 2 minutes.05. To plate, spoon the sauce onto the plate and place the lamb shank on top. Add the vegetables before sprinkling over the garlic ciabatta style crumb for an extra crunch.Succulent lamb shanks marinated with a fragrant blend of herbs. TECHNICAL COOKING INSTRUCTIONS Remove all outer packaging and place sauce sachet and ciabatta stye crumb to one side. - Place lamb shanks and vegetables into the foil tray provided, positioning the shanks on top of the vegetables. Add 2 tablespoons of water. Cover with foil and placing on a baking tray in the centre of a pre-heated oven, basting the shanks halfway with the cooking juices for 220°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 7 45 mins Remove the foil and baste again. Cook uncovered for a further 15 mins - Once cooked, baste one final time and allow to rest for 2 minutes. - Empty the contents of the sauce sachet into a small saucepan. Bring to a low simmer for 2 minutes. - Spoon the sauce onto each plate. Place one lamb shank on each plate along with an equal portion of vegetables. Finish with the crumb.

Storage

Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown. Not suitable for freezing.
