Preparation and Usage

Chefs Tips
1. A dark edge on the meat is no mistake! Known in Texas as the 'bark' - it adds bold flavour and incredible texture.

2. Sprinkle the sugar crunch evenly before finishing the cook for a perfectly candied finish.

3. To finish, evenly coat the meat in the glaze for maximum flavour.

Oven

Instructions: 200°C/ Fan 180°C/ Gas 6. 30 mins. Remove outer packaging and place the sachets to one side. Empty the contents of the pouch into an ovenproof dish and place in the centre of a pre-heated oven for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and tumble the pork with the sugar crunch, then return to the oven for a further 5 minutes. Remove from the oven, drain the excess juices. Coat with the spiced vinegar glaze and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Instructions: Air Fry180°C Chilled 15 mins.Based on minimum 3.8 litre capacity air fryer.Remove crisper plate.Pre-heat air fryer.Empty the contents of the pouch into the air fryer in a single layer.Cook for 12 minutes.Tumble pork with sugar crunch and cook for a further 3 minutes.Coat with the spiced vinegar glaze and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Keep refrigerated.
