Instructions: Pan Fry & OvenRemove all packaging and place seasoning melt to one side.Allow steak to rest at room temperature for 1 hour before cooking.Rub or brush the steak with a little oil.Heat a heavy based frying pan over a high heat for 2-5 minutes until hot.Place steak in the dry pan and cook over a high heat.PAN FRY: 1 min each side plus 30 secs for each steak edge.After pan frying transfer the steak to a pre-heated roasting tray and place in the centre of a pre-heated oven.Cook for a further OVEN 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6: 2 mins per 100g (rare), 3 mins per 100g (medium), 4-5 mins per 100g (well done).BARBECUE For a chargrilled effect, cook as per cooking guidelines above, then place on the barbecue, turning frequently until desired chargrilled appearance is achieved.Remove from the oven or barbecue and allow to rest for 10 minutes in a warm place before serving.In a pan, gently melt the seasoning melt, do not allow to boil. Slice the steak and pour over melted seasoning melt before serving.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.
