Preparation and Usage

Usage InstructionsDo not remove the wrapper:Carefully extend middle seam and pull out end seams.Place the starterlog in your fireplace, chiminea or fire pit with the horizontal seam at the top. Light at arrows. Sunny Jim recommends long safety matches.Light the wrapper here

WARNING: The Sunny Jim Starterlog burns with real heat and is not for simply decorative flames. Only use in fireplaces or appliances suitable for a real solid fuel fire. Do NOT use the Sunny Jim Starterlog in closed, non-vented fireplaces/fire appliances.Open fireplace damper before lighting the Starterlog. DO NOT POKE, TOUCH OR MOVE STARTERLOG ONCE LIT. Do not use for BBQs. Towards the end of the burn, if desired, extend fire by adding another Starterlog or topping up with more coal or wood.Do not use flammable liquids to ignite the Starterlog. In an emergency extinguish with a very wet rag or sand. Only use/burn one Sunny Jim Starterlog at a time. Keep away from children and pets.
