Working in partnership with our grower Huntapac Porduce Ltd, all our parsnips and carrots are grown on carefully tended fields. Havervesting starts in early in the morning to bring you carrots with a sweet crunch and parsnips with a nutty flavour.

Our chantenay carrots and baby parsnips come from trusted growers across the U.K. One of our growers Huntapac Produce, is a family run business that has been growing carrots and parsnips for over 80 years. They are selected for their small size, grown in carefully prepared beds and during the colder months covered in straw to protect them from winter frosts.

Preparation and Usage

Wash before use.

Remove tops and tails.

Cook whole.

Oven

200C / Fan180C / Gas mark 6 20-30 mins.

Place in a roasting tin and drizzle with oil.

Roast in the centre of a pre-heated oven for

20-30 minutes or until caramelized and tender.

Turn the carrots and parsnips over halfway through cooking.

Steam

Place in a streamer above a pan of boiling water.

Cover with lid and steam for 8-10 minutes or until tender.

Hob

Place in a pan of boiling water.

Reduce heat and simmer for 5-6 minutes or

until tender.

Drain well before serving.
