Preparation and Usage

Carving instructions

  1. Carefully lift the turkey out of the foil onto a board using a large spatula, tongs or carving fork.
  2. Using scissors snip and remove truss bands.
  3. With the legs pointing to one side slice the stuffed turkey breast evenly into 2cm slices.
  4. When fully sliced the remaining leg meat can be served on the bone or removed and served alongside the slices.
  5. Drizzle with any remaining glaze/cooking juices.
  6. Enjoy.

Oven

Instructions: Remove from the fridge 1 hour prior to cooking. Remove card sleeve and bag. Place foil tray onto a large baking tray. For best results please remove foil pad underneath joint before cooking. Cover with foil and place in the centre of a pre-heated oven. 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4 1 hr 30 mins Remove the foil, baste and return to the oven for a further 1hr 10 mins. Baste and decant any excess liquid. Allow to rest for at least 20 mins before carving, drizzle with buttery juices when serving.

Microwave

Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 29 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Keep refrigerated below 4°C.
