Preparation and Usage
Cooking time 15-18 minutes.
Makes: 8 cookies
Method: Oven, Microwave
You Will Need:
75g Softened Unsalted Butter
30ml (2 tbsp) Cold Water
1 litre Semi Skimmed Milk
To make the cookies:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas Mark 4.
2. Line a flat baking tray with greaseproof paper.
3. Empty the cookie sachet into a bowl, add the butter and water.
4. Mix together to form a dough.
5. Divide the cookie dough into 8 balls.
6. Evenly space the balls on the baking tray and gently press each ball down slightly.
7. Cover each cookie in sprinkles and gently press into the dough.
8. Bake in the centre of the oven for 15 minutes for a chewy cookie or 18 minutes for more of a crunch.
9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
To make the hot chocolate:
1. Place the milk in a microwavable jug and heat on full power 800W 4 minutes / 900W 3 minutes until the milk is just coming to the boil.
2. Divide the chocolate chips between 5 mugs/cups and pour over 200ml of the hot milk per mug.
3. Stir each thoroughly until the chocolate is fully dissolved into the milk.
4. Top each hot chocolate with 5g of the mini marshmallows.
