These were cheaper than the others and now I know why. No real flavour, very watery. Might be ok to add to a curry etc but that’s about all. Will not buy these again. Waste of money.
The last time I bought these they were insipid and watery with very little flavour. I thought it was maybe a one-off, so I bought them again, but nope - these are the same too. Yuk. Don't waste your money.
Don’t waste your money
I ordered these before but they were out of stock so were replaced with Tesco’s own brand, which were fantastic. These Seachill prawns tasted of absolutely nothing! I ate half in a prawn cocktail, and binned the rest.
Totally tasteless & waste of money
They were tasteless!
These prawns have a strange, gelatinous texture which is most unpleasant. The taste isn't bad but hard to get past the texture.
Look what terrible things they do to foreign farmed prawns so bad no wonder they taste awful. Tesco we want prawns from our own country and pay a bit more for the taste and decent rearing.

Bought these online to make prawn cocktails. Must admit they were the worst tasting prawns I have ever bought. They were completely tasteless, unfortunately they ended up in the bin. I love prawn cocktails and I know prawns are high in cholesterol but if they taste good I suffer the consequences. This purchase was not worth eating. Would not recommend.
They look like prawns, are shaped like prawns buts that's it have no taste at all, you would get more taste from sucking an ice cube, truly are a waste of money
Marinade them and no problem.
Great value for money. Can't agree with everyone else. I always make my own marinade or dip and either soak them in the marinade or drip them. Don't notice a difference. Since I eat a lot of prawns, I find these suitable and worth the price. When I am entertaining or it is a special occasion, I would then buy more expensive prawns. But, if you use a marinade then they are no problem at all.
