Too Small...

3 stars

A Tesco Customer10th January 2023

They are so small! Other branded and supermarket brands are so much bigger and work out better value!

Wrong baking time

A Tesco Customer17th June 2022

They come out a flaky crunchy pastry on top, can be a little doughy in the middle though. Good substitute for a bakery croissant. The packaging could do with improving, the cardboard base gets stuck to the bottom of croissants often and you have to peel it off before cooking.

More expensive than Prets

2 stars

A Tesco Customer29UK March 2022

Usually the store brand is cheaper, but this one worked out slightly more expensive than Pret's one. The croissants is smaller in size, like others mentioned, the base were slightly burnt, however the inside were still undercooked and soggy. I've already lowered the temp in case it was too high.

Better than France.

straight from the freezer to the oven! the aroma just like being in a bakers!

33% smaller grrrrrr

3 stars

A Tesco Customer14th November 2021

33% cheaper than tesco alternative - pret A manger, but wait a min [false equivlent alert] same quantity 6 33% smaller, so not cheaper, same price. Conclusion - deceptive marketing ploy.

Useless!

1 stars

A Tesco Customer29UK September 2021

Useless. Burnt on the top within 10 mins so had to cover with foil for the remaining 10 to stop them turning into hockey pucks. Then stuck fast to the non-stick foil I lined my baking tray with. Once cooked, hard to cut without them completely falling to pieces, and after all that they don't taste particularly nice - in fact they hardly taste of anything! Never again!

Burnt every time

2 stars

A Tesco Customer26UK April 2021

These would be great if you didn’t end up with a burnt bottom every time. Cooked according to instructions and burnt bottom. Cooked the second time on a lower temp and for less time than instructions say and STILL burnt

Shrinking pastries!

2 stars

A Tesco Customer27UK March 2021

Not sure what has happened to these. They used to be fantastic and I buy them every week as a treat for the kids but I've noticed over the last few weeks that they have been shrinking. The first week we all had a giggle about it as there were 5 normal sized croissants and one teeny tiny one. But, as the weeks have gone on they are now ALL teeny tiny croissants. It's a shame because they were a favourite!

A breakfast treat

Very light and tasty
