Well you one star binners, we really enjoyed them!
Mustard and brown sauce and one of these makes for an easy, tasty evening meal. You would think some of the one star posters who review food here were raised at the Ritz the way they try to pull everything down. People like us who depend on delivery are enjoy almost everything we get. I wish some would award their stars with more thought - does finger people power go to the head? We are not doing Masterchef here.
Why no free range egg in 'Finest' product
A disgrace not using Free-range Eggs. But then Tesco was the last Supermarket to sell free-range ANYTHING. And they still haven't embraced it like other 'mainstream' Supermarkets - and I'm not talking about the 'posh' ones.
Buy these regularly and never had a bad experience. Lovely product!
Not bad, but eggs could be bigger and free range.
Not bad for a supermarket scotch egg. FAR from a proper homemade scotch egg, but ok for a snack or cold buffet. I haven’t tried them hot.
Poor quality. Sausage meat outer was very dry and tasteless. Won't buy them again.
Was disappointed with the finest scotch egg, it wa
Was disappointed with the finest scotch egg, it was too big, and lacked any flavour.
Missing the egg in the centre
When is a Scotch Egg not a Scotch Egg, when you cut it open and there’s no egg inside. Therefore only 4/5
Excellent. Put in the oven for 10 mins and at the same time put in some thinly slice Simon Howie black pudding and you have the perfect breakfast without frying, nothing to clear up. This item will be on my list weekly.
Finest Caged Hen’s Eggs.
What’ so finest about using Eggs from Caged Hens?
Dry and tasteless
Well if this is Tesco’s finest I dread to think what the cheaper version is like. I don’t know if this was a one off (although I won’t be buying a second to test that theory ) but both scotch eggs were very dry and tasteless. They went into the bin.
