9/10
Excellent quality, quite fiery, with at least 8 fairly large, good quality pieces of chicken. I get through at least 4 of these per week, I augment it with some broccoli and diced courgette, added to it, before cooking in the oven as per the directions on the label.
VINDALOO! Vindaloo! VINDALOO!
Have bought many cheap frozen supermarket curries over the years so expected another English stew but WOW this is actually a decent Vindaloo heat (and I grew up in Far East). It’s cheap so chicken isn’t best quality and rice is gooey but what do you expect for that price. The heat overrides it anyway so will be stocking up on these in bulk! VINDALOOO!!! :-)
Super Spicy
Finally something that is actually super spicy! I loved it
Impossible to eat!
I like hot spicy food - but this is absolutely impossible to eat! I had to throw away ALL the sauce - and even so I struggled to eat the chicken. I finished with a sharp pain in my stomach.
Hot hot hot.
Love it, very very VERY spicy, be warned, more spice than your average indian takaway!, needed a break with each bite.
AVOID !!!
Spiciness is right on the nail, but that's where the good news ends. This is absolutely vile. 2 spoonfuls were 1 1/2 spoons too much. Thankfully I had something else edible to had. I eat a lot of spicy food (my wife is an Indian/Thai chef, but this was utterly repulsive.
To Hot
Its so hot you cant taste much?
All good !
Nice and hot.. Just like a normal Vindaloo. A good amount of chicken in it. Cheap and cheerful.
Decent Curry
This is properly hot (it is a vindaloo). I normally add hot sauce to ready meals, but no need here. I liked it and for the price I think its very good and will be buying again.
Don't forget your water, You will need it!!
Wow this was hot and i do like my curries hot but i struggled with this one! Agree it is more like a fiery chilli sauce than a curry sauce. I did manage eat it though through a constant streaming nose!! I wont be buying this one again, I will stick to the chilled version.
