Taste has changed
Used to like this up until a couple of months ago when the taste changed, have noticed this with other 'cheaper' pastas. It tastes slighty but not in a nice way sweet.
My Favourite Pasta
Casareccia is a great pasta, particularly if made with a bronze die as this is, which gives it a rough surface. It's easy to control how "al dente" it is, and it doesn't suddenly go mushy if you like it softer than the Italians would serve it. Because of the shape it is really good at holding tomato based sauces like puttanesca that can slide off some pastas.
Di Martino is a very good brand of pasta. The past
Di Martino is a very good brand of pasta. The pasta holds its shape and does not go mushy. It holds a sauce very well. I would like Tesco to stock more varieties in this brand.
Cooked really well and held the sauce. Bought on a whim but would certainly buy again. Brought up in an Italian household and this is as good as any i have eaten before. Also pasta holds the shape well doesn't break up or go mushy. Thank you.
