very poor quality
was infested with white mites and tiny white flies. Had to bin immediately and wash all other items in the delivery.
Used to enjoy this kale but it is not good anymore
Usually this tasty Italian kale is great but recently it has been tough. The most recent pack was old and going yellow. Even my rabbit would not eat it so we had to throw most of it away.
Tasty and easy to prep
Much better than the chopped version, could do well to double check for bugs and eggs however.
Looked good on arrival and I was amazed that it stayed perfectly fresh for 10 days. Much sweeter than ordinary kale and versatile.
Wonderful, fresh and more than I expected in pack.
Wonderful, fresh and more than I expected in pack. Shredded and stir-fried, added to a casserole or made into crisps, it's a wonder veg, sweet and delicious and good for you too. Would prefer organic.
I found this kale to be fresh and leafy with not too much stalk - generally better than the chopped kale in bags.
Don’t bother unless you like yellow leaves!
The quality was awful, came from Spain on the shopping order. The packet carefully disguised the yellow leaves in the middle - not used, revolting. Expected so much more from Tesco Finest.

I was having dinner for 9 people [ Sunday lunch] ordered 2 packs, could not believe it ! Tesco ' Finest ' caterpillars crawling all over it, Phoned to complain and was reimbursed , with goodwill gesture, Surely there should be some form of quality control , with the producer's . Asked to send photo ! did not have time I was rushing to shop [ not Tesco's] to replace vegetable!
The picture shows whole Cavolo Nero leaves but you
The picture shows whole Cavolo Nero leaves but you keep substituting choped leaves. If you cook long enough to eat the stalks (at least 30 min) the leaf will be mush. With a whole leaf you can pull the stalk free with your hands and put the inedible stalk on the compost heap. Who would be daft enough to cut out the stalk from hundreds of chopped bits. If you want to sell chopped leaves show a picture of chopped leave If you want to sell chopped leaves please show a picture of chopped leaves.
Much better than the chopped version. Stalks can be easily stripped out, so the leaves can be used for salads, smoothies etc. I remove the stalks, shred the leaves and bake in a hot oven with soft brown sugar and chinese 5 spice. Needs to be thoroughly washed as it does sometimes come with what seems to be insect/caterpillar debris – if not for that, I'd give it the full 5 stars.
