Description

Red WineOriginating from the very best terroirs of the region we have carefully selected and crafted a blend of the traditional Southern Rhone grape varieties (Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre) to produce this outstanding cuvee. A fine bouquet of black fruits (Cherries) and spice leads on to a palate that is both fresh and harmonious with a dense, soft structure. Ripe, luscious fruit is enhanced with peppery notes and supported by silky tannins and great length. A real vin de garde.
The Perrin Family, owner of Château de Beaucastel, have been winemakers in the Rhône Valley for five generations. Their wines illustrate a strong knowledge and a deep attachment to these terroirs of exception. Their excellent reputation was built over the years by producing wines that represent the authenticity of their terroir and a style which always combines concentration and elegance.

Vinification Details

La date de récolte est déterminée grâce à des contrôles maturité et dégustation des baies. Dès leur arrivée au chai, les raisins sont triés et égrappés. La fermentation se déroule dans des cuves en inox thermorégulées de 150hl à 190hl. L'extraction se fait par des remontages raisonnés en fonction de la dégustation. Après le décuvage et la fermentation malolactique, les vins sont transférés, une partie en foudres, une autre en cuves bois et enfin une dernière partie en cuves inox, élevage d'un an.

Ce vin est produit par la famille Perrin, avec les mêmes techniques de viticulture et de vinification utilisées au Château de Beaucastel.

Regional Information

Issu de différents terroirs regroupés sous l'appellation "Côtes du Rhône Villages", ce vin est l'une des plus fidèles illustrations de la Vallée du Rhône Sud.
