Wet tissue in bag
I usually buy and use baby spinach from tesco but was put off this week when I found a wet tissue inside the bag. I will try growing my own. Very disappointing!
Will not buy again
Day 1 was ok but after that it was smelly and a bit slimy. Still well within sell-by date. Disappointing.
shop picked pack that was out of date
collected only to fund out the date is up the next day
Very good, to cook, I leave the spinach in the bag, pierce the film in several places and microwave it for 3 minutes. It tastes great. Spinach does go off quite quickly so I always use mine within 2 or 3 days of purchase.
Slimey , giant baby spinach
Terrible, the largest ‘baby’ spinach EVER!! Already going slimey 4 days before best before date, by best before it was dripping slime. I picked some less Yucky leaves out but hardly any were edible , The last ‘baby’ spinach I bought wasn’t good but I had hoped it was a one off , sadly , not so . Tesco does a lot very well , I am sure they can improve on this.
Wet and slimy
I’ve had to get a refund twice on fresh spinach. It’s arrived all wet and slimy and not even fit for use on the same day let alone after two days.
Will not buy again Dry and disgusting, not fresh at all.
Short shelf life
I was sent this item as a replacement for the 220g bag of baby spinach. The delivery was received 8pm 31st August, the item expires 1st September. Please Tesco, add details of short dates to your receipts. If I had been aware of this I would have returned the replacement.

Please send fresher spinach
This week our on line shop spinach was out of date the same day. It was rotting in the pack and we had to put it in the waste bin
