Oven from frozen

Instructions: 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4 3 hours 20 mins For a crispier crackling, coat with a layer of oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Cover tray with foil and place on a baking tray in the centre of a pre-heated oven for 2 hours 35 minutes. Remove from oven and carefully remove the foil cover from the tray. Increase oven temperature to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6 and place back in the oven for a further 45 minutes. Leave to stand for 5-10 minutes before carving. To Carve: Place a serving fork in the centre of the joint and hold firmly, carefully remove ties. The worst piece of meat I have ever purchased. Currently sat here writing this on New Year’s Day with dinner ruined. The meat is poor quality and despite following the instructions, the ‘crackling’ is like a white piece of fat (yes I oiled and salted) and the meat is grey.... so disappointed.

This was very disappointing. The meat was rolled pieces and mostly fatty. The crackling was rubbery despite following the instructions to the letter. Looked nothing like the picture.

Defrost before cooking - Works for me every time!

I have ordered this pork joint many times and we have always enjoyed it. The way I do it is to let it defrost before cooking! Then roast in the oven for around 50 minutes, remove and take the crackling off to put back in the oven for around 20 minutes whilst the pork joint is resting under foil! Hope this works for you too!

Don’t bother with this.

Quite revolting. Despite following instructions exactly the joint was overcooked and dry. Meat was a grey colour and looked very unappetising.

Dont buy it!

This is the worst pork joint I have had in a long time - it was thick with fat, the meat was tuff and chewy. I will not be ordering this again and I recommend any one else considering this purchase to avoid.
