Not sure if most people in the comments are eating the right thing or cooking it right but this roast is absolutely delicious. No it doesn’t taste like beef but it’s also not horribly chewy and rubbery like beef. It’s moist, tasty and perfect with some Yorkshire pudds. Shame it’s unavailable currently ‘cause we have one every Sunday as long as we can get one.
Not sure what cat food tastes like but looks like
Not sure what cat food tastes like but looks like a similar consistency and tastes very bready... will make my own nut roast . Sorry Linda xxx ps your sausages are ace
Can only truly be described a purely vile
Yuk! Utterly tasteless and quite unappealing. Comes with an unsuitable cloying "glaze" syrup that I suppose is intended to make it bearable but in reality does nothing to salvage the situation. On offer so I gave it a try. I had one small piece and the rest is going in the bin.
Flavourless, like eating rubber. Normally a big lover of Linda products but this was awful.
Not good at all
Tried this out as an intention of buying it for a Christmas roast. I do not feel good after eating this, weird taste, weird texture, nothing like beef and felt like something really terrible had been consumed when eating. Would not recommend. Shame as I generally like LM range
Great tasting, either hot or sliced into pitta when it's gone cold.Well worth trying, don't think you'll be disappointed.
Awful not like nut roast at all
I love most of Linda's products but his nut roast was tasteless and was like sponge, very dissapointing would not buy again, rather make my own.
Yum. Nice and easy. Bung it in the oven. I make some extra onion gravy to go with it. I buy this to leave at my mums home freezer, then she doesn't have to worry if she can cater for us or if she has any suitable food for us to eat when we make our random visits.
Not for me
I couldn't eat it, didn't like the consistency, much prefer Quorn Beef Roast
