A great freezer standby
These are a great stand by (as are the southern fried ones, when I can get them), I always have some in the freezer - they can be cooked from frozen. They are proper chicken breasts - not ‘chopped and shaped’. What’s not to love?
Tasteless
Got to say these are absolutely tasteless, no flavour at all
Good substitute for home breaded chicken
When there isn't time to bread my own chicken, these are a great substitute. They make a brilliant Chicken Milanese with spicy pasta or are lovely in french sticks with a salad.
Refreshing change to breaded chicken
My wife and I gave these a go other night after seeing them on the shelf. We both agreed how nice they were and will defiantly be having them again. Made a great change to having normal breaded/battered chicken.
Short Shelf Life
These taste okay but I won't be buying them again because they only have a 2 day shelf life, which includes the day of delivery, meaning you need to eat them the day after they are delivered. That is not what I took from a 2 day shelf life and is no use to someone who orders a huge shopping and is clearly doing a weekly shop. I always assumed 2 days meant the next day and the day after but not according to customer services so my chicken filets are in the bin. Not happy.
Very tasty
I have been buying these for years as my husband loves them. We used to buy the 4 pack as better value but seems only the 2 pack is stocked now. They are crispy on the outside with a nice savoury crumb and juicy on the inside. It’s not always easy to tell when they are cooked through so I often need to cut it in half then put it back in the oven for a little longer to be sure. We love them with sweet and sour sauce, carrots and broccoli. A delicious and easy mid week dinner
Sugary, sweet slurch
I just have to leave a comment about this chicken. This is supposed to be a savoury chicken, right? Well. no, rather, it's a sickly sweet water-saturated burnt chicken in a batter. Why the sugar? The batter is tasteless too. Very disappointed.
