Real feta cheese
Rinse and pat dry
I have never bought cheese before that I have to rinse and pat dry ?? No instructions via the product information either.
The description is wrong - pack size is 150g
Probably THE best Feta outside of Greece
I have tried lots of Feta from supermarkets in the UK trying to find as near to the taste and texture that you get from a traditional taverna in Greece... This is the best I have found. It is a little more expensive, but for me totally worth it. I made a mistake and marked subs allowed and the one I got was rubbish compared to this Barrel Aged one. I lived in Greece for a few years and saw feta in great big vessels being aged, so understand it is a process that makes it better tasting. I used to drive a few miles to the supermarket that stocked this, as the local one would not have it. I now always have some in.
Creamy and gorgeous.
Lovely delicious creamy cheese.
Misleading picture, pack size incorrect.
This is listed as 300g on the main picture which didn’t correlate with the price per kg so on looking at the detailed description it’s listed as 150g which makes the price per kg correct. Very misleading main picture.
Not much of a good thing
Very good Greek feta, but there's only 150g of cheese in the pack. The other 160g is brine.
Best feta ever.!!!
I have only tried this and one other type of feta cheese and this is far better !!!! The crumbly soft smooth texture was so enjoyable and it kept well in its brine for about 4-5 days. Don’t pour out the brine.
Only 150g of feta!!!!
As I'm food shopping online only due to the need to shield an at-risk person, this means buying some products "blind". I was shopping for feta for a specific recipe which needs 250g, but the standard packs are 200g and I didn't want to get 400g and waste 150g, and 310g seemed more sensible. However this pack only contains 150g of feta once drained, a fact I only discovered on a Sunday evening after starting to make the recipe and when the shops were shut so I couldn't go out to get some more. OK the information is there on the product page if you look hard enough, but to only get half of the headline weight of cheese is disappointing to put it mildly. This kind of information should be made more obvious for online shopping, as part of the headline description.
Description says 310G - is that the weight? Because pack size is 150G.
