I was pleased with the overall flavour. Sadly I had to return most of it due to there being too much sediment. This ruined the experience for me.

not for moi

just come back from a wine tasting tour of the Languedoc where I tasted some great wines this wine does not do it for me. . nose of the garrigue hay, straw, grass, hedgerow, down hill from there. acidic, tart, dry in the mouth but a little sickly sweet. pepper, tannic, dry, sour aftertaste not a good example of minervois, will not buy again..

Enjoyable French !

Very dark colour but what really was noticeable was the aroma, could smell this whilst pouring it really was powerful, rich dark blackcurrants, smokey tobacco and something sweet. Taste - this did taste young and fruity, immediate hit of spice and heat at the back of the throat, this really was initially very spicy. Very fruity as well with really ripe blackcurrants with a sweet and sour aftertaste and lots of smokey ash in the background. Full bodied. NB: After breathing for a couple of hours, it became a softer, richer, smoother if a little sweeter drink but still had that distinct southern French flavour. For me a pretty decent and enjoyable wine.

Classic French Wine.

Mostly go for Australian wines. Was pleasently surprised at this French wine. Full / medium bodied with good fruity flavour. Smooth easy drinking wine. Would buy again. Apparently keeps for 5 years - but not with us !

Too young?

Quite pleasant wine. Fruity, sweetish and quite full-bodied. However, it tastes a bit 'young' and full flavour not there.

A good all round wine

This full-bodied wine works well with food and yet is still not to over powering to drink by its self has a rich fruity flavour ideal for the winter months this is the second case and would buy it again.
