Perfect cheese if you are not fond of "Blue"
a tasty very mild but creamy Brie with a hint of Blue - I loved it on crusty baguette. Perfect for those that dont like the strong salty blues. I shall buy again but would like to try the alternative Tesco Cambozola Blue Brie in the blue packet which is slightly more expensive.
Creamy with a mild blue cheese taste.
I have never bought this before but I used it as a substitute for Garstang Blue which I cannot get at the moment due to lock down. It has a lovely creamy consistency but the taste is not to strong as blue Stilton.
Avoid Tesco imitation
This is not real cambozola - it is a poor imitation that brings disrepute to the name.
Nice cheese - frustrating packaging
Difficult to open the plastic wrapper - especially when nicely ripe. Needs a very pointed knife to make an initial opening - then a sharp edge to make a long cut. Worth the frustration as it is always a nice cheese. Judge the ripeness by eye - not by package date.
This doesn't last long in our house! Creamy and nicely, but not aggressively blue flavoured it's good with grapes and crackers.
Bought this to top a black and blue burger as a change from stilton. Might never go back, absolutely love it.
This is beautiful cheese, either alone/on crackers and in food. Will definitely buy again.
A very nice cheese
