new weak lids keep bursting off
The yoghurt itself is nice, but the new ecological tops, lacking a nice plastic lid, means in transit they burst before I ever get to see them, or split at the seam and go off in my fridge.
Really smooth and good flavour.
Really smooth and good flavour. Thanks to other reviewers for the warning about how flimsy the pot is. I cleaned and reused the pot and lid from another brand in order to act as an outer container for this yoghurt. BTW: Yeo Valley also make a _honey_flavour_ version, which is *super-scrummy*. Tesco don't seem to sell it, but happily our local Co-op does!
Fantastic Yogurt, but nuisance packaging
Guys (in the Yeo Valley), I get the whole no-lid thing (if only the pot was properly recyclable, proper hard-plastic ... Ergo, a bit of a show! Wouldn't it have been a great, customer-centric idea to announce this a few months ahead, clearly marked? Yes, I reuse the last lid I had from the last lidded pot. And one day it'll break or get lost, and I won't buy your product anymore. But evidently not everyone was so lucky; and they have every good reason to complain: a flimsy film on a nearly as flimsy, wobbly pot @ 450g? I don't envy anyone who has to deal with this. Last, but not least, separating the cardboard from the pot is neigh-impossible. Way too much half-baked recycling 'solutions' (considering that recycling was a marketing ploy of the plastic industry). And I'm starting to wonder whether to still buy this and support these half-baked 'solutions' (and remember, I have a lid!) ... just don't like the faff you make about it, as if recycling was invented in S.W. England. Shame, coz this is one heck of a delicious, very creamy yogurt; rich and nicely textured, organic, with bacterial cultures. One of the best on Tesco's pages! Still unaltered, as opposed to so many products in recent years. Congratulations, truly! So nice, in fact, that I'm sure that, were you to add a harder pot, less glue on the cardboard and a hard-plastic lid, and charged 20p more, you'd retain more customers. Like me. Have a gander what your colleagues at Fage are doing; that's how to packaged classy yogurt correctly. Recyclable, too.
No lid, useless
No Lid for me either. The yogurt's ok, but for a big pot it's useless. Won't be buying again.
No lid!
No lid! Don't bother with this. I only realised after I brought it home from click and collect. Going to get a refund and will use other brands in the future. You just lost a long time customer!
Lovely and smooth
This is a lovely yogurt, very smooth and tasty.
Nice Yogurt but No lid.
This is a really good and a favourite Yogurt but have stopped buying it now due to it not having a lid. Bring back the lid and you get 5 stars!

No-lid Yoghurt: Oh dear! Like other people, I've bought Yeo Valley organic yoghurt for years, but was horrified to find that it no longer comes with a lid. This really is ridiculous. I've tried coping with the floppy thing they've left us with, but, as others have stated, the pots are now totally unstable. The yoghurt is also now prey to contamination from other foods as the cartons are not secure. Luckily for me, I actually had a couple of lids lying around when the new stuff came, so I now wash these out and use them - a bit fiddly and time-consuming, but certainly better than nothing. However, if Yeo Valley persist in leaving us in this state, they'll go right down in everyone's estimation. I do hope that Tesco is feeding our comments back to Yeo Valley. And no, it's not the case that we'll all get used to their new system eventually. That's pie in the sky thinking, I'm afraid.
Totally impractical without a lid.
I have been using Yeo Valley Greek Yogurt for years and years because it's full-fat, live, organic and tasted lovely. I now have had to change to another yogurt since the packaging has changed - without the clear plastic lid, the pot is soft and unstable and every week so far since the change, one the pots delivered has had to be refunded as the lids have become detached, leaking yogurt over the rest of my delivery. What wasn't damaged has had to be discarded before the pot is finished as it is impossible to seal the pot for storage without a lid. Come on, Yeo Valley - it's all very well to be "green" but not at the expense of the product you're selling. Customers can't deal with impractical packaging just because of ideals so please try harder, or do a bit of compromising like the rest of us.
Nice yogurt
The yogurt is great but Yeo Valley have stopped doing the clear plastic clip on lid on this and the film tub lid wasn't sealed properly when it was delivered. Not sure if that's down to Tesco or Yeo Valley.
