  • When will my Xbox One order be delivered?

    We will despatch your order via Parcelforce and endeavour to have it with you on the day of release (Friday 22nd November).

  • What happens if I’m not home when my delivery is made?

  • If no-one is at home to take the delivery, Parcelforce will leave a card at your address and take your console to the nearest Post Office.

  • How does the pre-order price promise work on my Xbox One order?

    Our Pre-order Price Promise is available on Tesco direct for all pre-order CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, games and books. It's our guarantee to you to make sure that you pay the lowest between the price when you pre-order and the price on the release date.

    When you pre-order a product from us, you will need to pay the amount shown at the online checkout at the time of order.

    However, if the price is cheaper on day of release, we promise to refund the price difference.

    We will process the refund on the release date, and it will be automatically credited to your payment card within 5 working days.

    Please note: Promotional discounts will only applied to the price of your pre-order product on the Tesco direct site at the time you place your order and not any subsequent lower prices. Any refund will be inclusive of staff discounts.

  • When will payment be taken?

    Payment will have been taken at the point you place your order. If you benefit from our pre-order price promise we will process the refund on the 22nd September, and it will be automatically credited to your payment card within 5 working days.

  • Xbox One First-Time Connection Guide

    Congratulations! You are about to become the proud new owner of an Xbox One.

    The first thing you’ll need to do is set-up your console. This will include:

    - Selecting your language, location and time zone

    - Choosing your display settings

    - Managing your privacy settings

    - Setting up Kinect (optional)

    - Signing in using your Microsoft account

    As part of this process you will need to connect your Xbox One to the internet and run a one-time system update. During this time your Xbox One will be inactive. This update is required in order to use your Xbox One for the first time. Once completed you will be able to play any disc based game without ever connecting online again.

    The system update will restart your Xbox One upon completion. After the console restarts, you can continue with set-up.

    Once you complete the last step of the set-up and sign-in process, you will be taken to the Xbox One Home screen. From here you can continue personalising your console and get going with your first game.
