How do I return a product?

Depending on the product and whether it was sold by Tesco or one of our Tesco Partners, you can return an item to a store or return it by courier or post.

For all returns we ask that you please let us have any tabs, labels and accessories and please package it all securely. If you’re returning an item because you've changed your mind, there may be a deduction from your refund if it has been damaged, opened more than necessary to check it’s working, or used more than reasonably expected.

Returning an item sold by Tesco

In-store - For an immediate refund you can take smaller items to a Tesco store (excluding Express stores). You’ll just need your order acknowledgement email as proof of purchase. Find your nearest store that accepts ‘Direct Returns’ on our Store Locator .
Collection - If your item came by courier, we can arrange for a courier to collect it. Please call our customer services team on 0800 323 4050 (or 0330 123 4050 local rate from a mobile) to tell us when you’d like it collected. 
By post - Some products such as books, entertainment items and F&F clothing may be returned by post.  We’ll pop a free returns label in with your order.  Please follow the steps below:

Step 1: You'll have received a returns form with your purchase.  Please fill out the reason for your return and enclose in the parcel.  We need this to process your return.  Only items listed on the form can be returned using the freepost label. 
Step 2: Unpeel the freepost returns label and stick it over the original address label on the packaging.
Step 3: Please carefully repack the item in the original packaging if you have it and securely seal the parcel. 
Step 4: If your box or bag is damaged and can’t be reused, please pack your items securely in alternative packaging. 
Step 5: Postage is free, so you can just drop the parcel in the post, but it's a good idea to keep proof of postage. Items returned without proof of postage are sent at your own risk.

Please note:  The return address varies depending on the product.  It’s important to use the returns form and freepost label that was delivered with your parcel to avoid any delay to your refund. The return address for embroidered uniform is different to our usual F&F return address.  If you’re unsure which address to use, please talk to our customer services team on 0800 323 4050.

I would like to return an F&F order but do not have my returns bag.
If you do not have a returns bag and invoice, please call our Customer Service team to request one on 0800 323 4050.
Returning an item sold by a Tesco Partner 

If you purchased an item from a Tesco Partner you can either return it directly to them or take it to selected Tesco stores, providing the item is small enough to be easily carried by one person.  Find your nearest store that accepts ‘Partner Returns’ using our Store Locator.

You are covered by the Tesco returns and refunds policy whether you return your item directly to the Tesco Partner or to a Tesco store and it is worth checking the Tesco Partner’s Information Page to see if they have a longer returns policy.   If you’re returning a faulty item outside the Partner’s normal return period, please contact the Partner directly for further assistance.
