Need your sofa or old furniture collected? It's so simple, and helps support the British Heart Foundation.

When you buy a new sofa, often it can be challenging disposing of your existing one. We're proud to be working closely with the British Heart Foundation, who can come and take away your sofa or other furniture for free, whether or not you've purchased your new furniture from Tesco.

The sofas and furniture are then sold by the British Heart Foundation in their network of shops across the UK, to raise funds in support of the charity's pioneering heart disease research.

In addition, over 400 specialist nurses provide care and advice to heart failure patients in their homes throughout the UK.

To help the British Heart Foundation resell the furniture they collect, sofas should be in good condition, clean and complete, and upholstered items should come with their fire label. For sofa sets, each individual item must have its own fire label.

If you have ordered a new sofa, please mention your expected delivery date so the British Heart Foundation can match your collection date as closely as possible. Collection can often be arranged within a few days, but it's best to arrange a date and collection slot (am or pm) as soon as possible. Unfortunately this service currently excludes Northern Ireland.

Spread the word! Just by recycling your old furniture, you'll be supporting the British Heart Foundation and helping to cure heart disease.
