Description

Delight in a vibrant spring exhibition featuring semi-double, ruffled red blooms adorned with striking golden stamens with Camellia japonica 'Doctor King.' This compact and tidy variety serves as a splendid addition to any patio, boasting glossy evergreen foliage that remains dark and lustrous throughout the year, contributing valuable structure to the garden even when not in bloom. Like all Camellias, it thrives in acidic soil. With a height and spread of 2m (6'), 'Doctor King' is a neat and charming addition to your outdoor space. For those with culinary interests, the flowers of this Camellia can be used as garnishes and are also dried for cooking in Asian cuisine.Remember that plant height and spread fluctuate seasonally, and our listing is based on pot size rather than fixed dimensions. The images provided upon arrival offer a glimpse of the plant's appearance at a specific moment in its seasonal growth.
