  • Rotating soleplate & dry iron mode

Description

The Fridja f20 Handheld Clothes Steamer Pro is a steamer and an iron in one hand. As steam passes through the garment, suction of over 4000Pa draws the fabric onto the heated Teflon coated soleplate and holds it there, so the plate presses the crease out rather than simply relaxing it. One hand does the work, with no ironing board and no need to pull the fabric taut. The 1100W heater is ready in around 30 seconds and the 90ml tank gives roughly eight minutes of steaming, with two steam levels and two suction levels to suit the fabric. The soleplate rotates through 90 degrees so collars, cuffs and hems can be reached at a natural angle, and a dry ironing mode is there when steam is not wanted. At 0.92kg with a 2.2m cord it is light enough to work through a full wardrobe and small enough to pack. A washable dust filter keeps fibres out of the machine, a self clean cycle manages limescale, and the unit shuts off automatically after 10 minutes and if the tank runs dry.
