Description

Fissidens nobilis, commonly known as Noble Fissidens, is a distinctive moss that is highly prized in aquascaping for its beautiful texture and versatility. This plant features small, lush, green leaves that form dense, bushy clumps, adding a soft and natural feel to any aquarium. Noble Fissidens is perfect for attaching to rocks, driftwood, or in the substrate, where it can create stunning, natural-looking landscapes. While it can grow well without CO2 supplementation, providing it can enhance its growth rate and overall health. With moderate to high lighting, Fissidens nobilis flourishes, creating a visually appealing addition to aquascapes. IMPORTANT NOTICE - Plants are incubated for one hour in a 0.01% solution of the insecticide Buprofezin. Please do not drop them straight into a shrimp tank, or any tank holding other crustaceans. To use them in such a tank, first wash them in water with baking soda, under light. They are treated to remove the insecticide, but there are cases where it has not been fully removed, causing casualties among crustaceans.
