Regional Information

Grapes come from the cool Casablanca and Biobío valleys and are then blended for a fresh, juicy profile. The focus is on flavours true to their grape varieties and a consistent style year after year.

Vinification Details

The grapes are mechanically picked at night to keep them fresh and full of flavour. After removing the stems, the wine ferments for 15 days in stainless steel tanks using specially chosen yeasts, with gentle mixing and pumpovers to bring out elegant flavours and soft colour. The wine then spends 8 months maturing, with a small part — around 10% — aged in French oak barrels. This adds a bit of depth while keeping the fresh, fruity character that Pinot Noir is known for.

History

Founded in 1998, Emiliana set out to prove that world-class wine could be made through organic and biodynamic farming — caring for nature, its people, and doing business sustainably. Today it's the world's largest organic winery, and the first in Chile to earn Regenerative Organic Certification.
