The Project Pinot Noir showcases a thoughtful and flexible winemaking approach, sourcing grapes from carefully selected vineyards across the Western Cape rather than a single site. This allows the finest parcels from diverse terroirs to be blended, creating a wine with complexity, balance, and depth. The result is a refined Pinot Noir that expresses both character and precision, reflecting the diversity and quality of the region.

Vinification Details

Grapes are sorted in the vineyard and handled gently in the winery. Cold soak for 2-3 days on skins. Malolatic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks after which the wine has been settling for 4 months.

Established in 2016, The Project Wines was founded by two highly respected South African winemakers, Duncan Savage and Thys Louw with a shared passion for crafting expressive, high-quality wines.
