Description

Oven-baked sponge cake with fat-reduced cocoa coating (31.5%) and milk filling (18.5%).Sponge cake with fat-reduced cocoa coating and milk filling.The product is suitable for all consumers without particular problems, excluding certain pathologies (gluten intolerance and diabetes) and those allergic to the ingredients indicated on the label.The sponge cake is completely prepared via automatic means: the ingredients are mixed and blended together in a turbo-emulsifying machine. The mixture is then trans-ferred to a pneumatic storage tank, extruded onto a steel belt and then is baked in an oven. After an initial period of cooling, the product is cut lengthwise. At this stage, the sponge cake is filled with pasteurised filling which are pre-pared separately by semi-automatic means. Once the layers of sponge cake have been laid on each other, the product is then cut cross-wise. Each snack is given a coating and then is cooled in a refrigerated tunnel. The product is then ready for packaging.All ingredients come mainly from Italy and other European countries. Periodic quality testing is carried out according to our HACCP plan.Appearance: The snack product has a uniform shape and a uniform striped decoration on the surface.Colour: Brown, typical of cocoa coating.Smell: Fragrant, typical of sponge cake and fat-reduced cocoa.Taste: Fragrant, typical of fat-reduced cocoa and milk.Consistency: Soft-textured product on the interior while having a solid exterior due to the presence of the coating
