Preparation and Usage

DiscoverExtraordinary Rice for Everyday Cooking (60g per serving)Variety: Pusa 1401We chose this Basmati variety for its nutiness, subtle sweetness and delicate texture. Here's the cooking method we swear by:Rinse & Soak: Give the grains a good rinse, then soak in cold water for 15-20 minutes in a large pan. This softens the grains so they cook perfectly.Simmer: Bring to the boil. reduce heat, simmer for 22-25 minutes.Steam: Drain, then pop the lid on and let your rice rest for 10 minutes.
