Preparation and Usage

Serve with a seared lemon wedge.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: Pan Fry Chilled 8 mins Remove from the fridge 5 - 10 mins before cooking. Pat dry with kitchen towel. Heat 1 teaspoon of oil (5ml) in a large non-stick frying pan over a medium/high heat. Lightly season prawns with salt and cracked black pepper and add them to the pan, one at a time in a single layer. Cook for 5-6 minutes, turning once. Turn the heat down to medium. Add a knob (10g) of unsalted butter to the pan. Once melted, baste the prawns for 1-2 minutes. Rest for 2 minutes, easily peel and enjoy.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown. This product has been previously frozen and restored to chill temperature under carefully controlled conditions. It is still suitable for freezing.
