Truffle Hunter Leda is sourced from vineyards within the Barbera D'Asti DOCG region in the heart of Piemonte in North-West Italy. The region's rolling hills keep the sun-drenched vineyards cool, allowing the grapes to ripen fully whilst retaining freshness.

Vinification Details

The grapes remain in contact with their skins for six days to extract colour and flavour, creating a deep ruby-red wine. The wine is then matured for six months in large oak barrels, adding complexity while preserving Barbera's vibrant fruit character.

History

Truffle Hunter Leda is produced by Bosio Family Estates, the Piemonte winery led by father and son team Valter and Luca Bosio. Inspired by Valter's lifelong passion for truffle hunting and his beloved dog Leda, the brand celebrates the unique connection between Piemonte's renowned wine regions and its world-famous white truffles. Truffle Hunter Leda showcases the character and diversity of the Barbera D'Asti region while paying tribute to one of its most cherished traditions.
