Description

Transform your food waste – including cooked food, meat, fish and dairy – into nutritious soil conditioner with no turning or stirring required. Dig the Cone into a hole in well-draining soil (not clay or chalk) in a sunny spot. The underground basket harnesses solar energy to speed decomposition, whilst worms and micro-organisms break down your waste. More than 90% reduces to nutrient-rich water that drains out and feeds surrounding soil – no compost produced. Because the basket sits underground, odours are naturally absorbed by the soil. Regular additions of accelerator powder boost the process, especially useful in winter months. Kit includes a kitchen caddy and starter pack of 3 x accelerator powder. Made in the UK from 100% recycled plastic. Five-year guarantee with an expected lifespan of 10+ years. HOW TO USE: Place the Cone in a hole in well-draining soil (not clay or chalk) in a sunny spot. The Cone harnesses energy from the sun to speed up the breakdown underground. More than 90 per cent of the contents are reduced to nutrient-rich liquid. Decomposition occurs below ground level so any odours are absorbed by the soil. Regular additions of the Cone's accelerator powder adds beneficial microbes, speeding up the breakdown process. *Not suitable in clay soil.
