Description

Lofos 'Wine Red' trailing flowering plant - extra-long stems with wine-red, trumpet-shaped flowers from May to October, ideal for hanging baskets and pots. Fast-growing and pollinator-friendly, it reaches 45-60 cm and prefers well-drained soil pH 6.0–6.5 and full sun. Plant between May and July for a long summer display.

Product Care InstructionsPlant in well-drained soil (pH 6.0–6.5) in full sun. For containers, plant 6–10 per 30cm pot with drainage material at the bottom and use general-purpose compost mixed with slow-release fertilizer. Water thoroughly after planting and keep moist (water every 1–3 days depending on rainfall). For ground planting, dig a hole twice as deep and three times as wide as the plant; improve heavy soil with compost, sand and grit. Use a liquid feed high in potash during the growing season and keep well-watered during dry periods.
