Description

Dianthus 'Pinks Scent First Sugar Plum' is a compact, evergreen perennial that produces masses of soft pink flowers with deeper plum-coloured centres and a spicy clove-like fragrance. Flowering from late spring and often repeating through summer, it suits borders, containers, gravel gardens and patios. Nectar-rich blooms attract bees and other pollinators. Easy to grow in a sunny, free-draining position (chalk, loam or sand), with regular deadheading to prolong flowering. Expected height 20–30 cm.
