Description

Pack of three 9cm dill plants (Anethum graveolens) grown by Marshalls Garden, suitable for pots, borders or glasshouse culture to produce an earlier crop. Dill has feathery green foliage and a strong aniseed flavour, used fresh or dried to flavour fish, lamb and sauces, and as an attractive garnish. In summer it produces flat yellow umbels that attract bees and other pollinators. Easy to grow in well-draining, organic-rich soil or a quality potting mix; keep moist but not waterlogged, provide 4–6 hours of direct sunlight, and protect from frost. Expected planting period April to August, mature height around 30cm. Includes three plants in individual cells with biodegradable membrane.
