Astrantia major Moulin Rouge 9cm Potted Plant x 3

Shorter than many traditional Astrantia varieties, ‘Moulin Rouge’ is ideal for the front of borders and pairs beautifully with cottage garden favourites. The distinctive flowers are a magnet for bees and butterflies and are equally admired as long-lasting additions to cut flower arrangements.

Grow Astrantia in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Enrich the planting area with plenty of well-rotted manure or compost and water regularly until established. In spring, divide overcrowded clumps to maintain vigour, and apply a generous mulch around the base of the plant to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
