Description

Unwins Houseplant Dichondra Silver Surfer Seeds are part of the NEW Unwins indoor plant seeds range. These seeds produce an easy to maintain, trailing houseplant. 

Perfect for indoors or outdoors, the soft, silver trailing foliage is perfect or pots, baskets or shelves. It is easy to grow indoors, or even outside in bright light.

Sow: January to December

Sowing
Level fill a tray with Westland Seed & Cutting Compost, firming gently with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Scatter seeds thinly and cover with vermiculite. Place in a propagator at 20 °C, or cover the tray with cling film and leave in a warm room.

Growing On
When shoots appear, remove cling film. Keep seedlings in a bright position but shaded from direct sunlight. When seedlings have at least 4 leaves, transplant 5 cm apart into trays of Westland Houseplant Potting Mix, or singly into small pots. Maintain a minimum temperature of 12 °C.

Support
Seeds are coated with a microplastic-free and chemical-free coating to improve germination speed.

Advice
Water with lukewarm water (18–20 °C) to encourage healthy root development.
