Hyundai 18 Inch 46cm Self-Propelled Petrol Lawnmower, Electric Start, 139cc HYM18150SPEX

Push-Button Start on a Mid-Size Workhorse

The 18" / 46cm cutting width hits a sweet spot for many gardens. Wide enough to make decent progress, but not so large that storage becomes an issue. The Hyundai HYM18150SPEX builds on this with electric start convenience and a 60L collection bag that lets you mow longer between emptying.

This is a self-propelled machine with a reliable 139cc engine. The electric start means no more pulling a cord to get going. Press the button, the engine fires, and you're underway. If the battery ever runs flat, the recoil backup is there.

Key Benefits

Start Without the Strain

Electric start uses a rechargeable battery and onboard motor to turn the engine over. No pulling, no resistance. Just press and mow. The recoil remains as backup for the rare occasion you need it.

Mid-Size Efficiency

An 18" / 46cm cutting width covers more ground per pass than a 17" mower, reducing the number of stripes needed. The 60L bag holds more clippings, so you spend less time walking to the compost heap.

Three Ways to Handle Clippings

Mulch finely chopped grass back into the lawn. Discharge out the side when conditions are dry. Discharge from the rear for a quick pass and rear collect. This model focuses on these four modes, covering most situations.

Who Is This For?

Ideal for:

Owners of medium gardens (approximately 500m² to 1,000m²)
Those who want electric start without stepping up to a larger engine
Gardeners who prefer a larger collection bag over constant emptying
Users looking for a balance of size, power and convenience

Not ideal for:

Small lawns where a 17" mower would be easier to manoeuvre<br> Large lawns over 1,000m² (consider a 20" or larger model)
Those who specifically need rear bagging (this model uses side/rear discharge and mulching)
