Marshalls Garden Kale ‘Midnight Sun’ is an ornamental, great-tasting variety prized for its frilly, red-tinted leaves and neon-pink midribs. Ideal as baby leaf or mature greens, it adds colour and flavour to salads, stir-fries and winter meals. Sow April–July; plants reach about 75 cm and produce leaves from August through February, allowing winter harvesting. Prefers full sun and moist, fertile, well-drained soil (pH 6.5–6.8).
